The Costume Society Award

Known also as The Patterns of Fashion Award, it honours the work of the dress historian Janet Arnold (1932-1998), a founder member of the Costume Society. Below is the replica made by Carrie of the embroidered fustian waistcoat on display at the V&A Museum in Kensington, London. Made in England in 1630-1640.
